Help required for Wales Rally GB
The North Wales Car Club needs help from volunteers willing to marshal or steward when Wales Rally GB comes to North Wales in November.
The club will assist the organisers in running the event on November 10th and 11th.
“North Wales Car Club members are very proud and privileged to have been involved in the process of securing the final round of the World Rally Championship for Llandudno and North Wales. “The impact it is going to have on the area will be enormous with a huge influx of people coming to watch and see the world superstars close to. “Much of the action with be centered around Llandudno and many of the teams will stay in the resort. It does however create a lot of work for the local clubs in stewarding and marshaling the various areas that are being used over the two days,” said club spokesman Alyn Edwards, “We would like to here from anyone willing to be a marshal or steward. Helping gives people the chance of getting even closer to the action and the crews and cars,” he said.
Llandudno is hosting the start, on the promenade and there will also be a service area in the resort. Anyone able to assist the car club members should contact Keith Pulling on 01492 878622 , 07771 923247 or by email at k.pulling@btinternet.com
